Description
NEW! Beginner Wheel Pottery I with Paul Sirofchuck
4 Thursdays | January 8, 15, 22, 29 | 5:30 - 8:00 PM
For those new to pottery, we’ve revised our original Beginner Wheel Pottery to run in 4 week sessions, 2 1/2 hours each, making it easier to fit it into your schedule and keep it affordable. You’ll get to know the studio, tools, our equipment, the wheel, the clay, and the foundational techniques every potter starts with, from centering clay to forming simple forms like cups, bowls and plates. Tools provided and clay included with tuition. We will bisque fire your work, glaze it and glaze fire it. Glazing is taught in our Beginner Wheel Pottery II. Attend one four week session, but we must warn you: pottery is incredibly addictive and you will probably want to attend more than one time, or check out our Beginner Wheel II! Register @ MainExhibitGallery.com $160 includes clay and use of tools
