NEW! Beginner Wheel Pottery II with Paul Sirofchuck 

4 Thursdays | February 12, 19, 26, March 5 | 5:30 - 8:00 PM 

This is Part Two of Beginner Wheel Pottery. Expanding on skills learned in the Beginner Wheel I, this 4-week session, 2 1/2 hours each, will teach more advanced skills and work on altering forms such as how to collar a cylinder (narrow the top) to create bottles, vases, and closed forms, how to alter a pot with textured ribs, how to make a lidded vessel and basic studio glazing. Students will work at their own level and pace to explore this creative art of pottery. Specifics: $165 includes 12 lbs of clay and use of tools

  • You have taken our Beginner Pottery I
  • You have experience with centering on the wheel from previous classes, but want step-by-step instruction and a supportive teaching style 
  • You want expand your wheel pottery skills 
  • You want to learn to glaze pottery 
  • You want to continue enjoying pottery
