Explore your creative side at Main Exhibit Gallery & Art Center! All classes are held at our fully accessible Art Center in the heart of Ligonier, 301 West Main Street. Christmas is coming and we know many of you like to get started early with Christmas decorating and gifts! These ceramic ornaments will pop on any tree, and make wonderful gift box/bag toppers! Under the guidance of Instructor Cray Charlebois, you'll learn the basics of working with clay slabs as you form a set Christmas ornaments, in perfect timing for the holiday season! Cray will have several pieces on display to inspire you as you work. She'll help you learn the slab technique, form your ornaments, and work with underglazes to embellish them with Christmas designs. After they dry, we'll bisque-fire them for you and then glaze-fire them, and let you know via email when they're available for pickup.* This workshop is for ages 14 and up. (We welcome 9-13 year-olds if accompanied by a responsible adult.) Go solo or invite a friend or family member to take the class with you! Free parking is available to all students!
