Description

Create your own ocean-themed mug (approx. 6"H x 3") and plate (approx. 10" diameter) project (fully food-safe and functional!) and learn how to work with clay slabs and glazes in the process! You'll have full artistic license to create and embellish your plate and mug any way you like! Class 1, May 24, will consist of making the project, and Class 2, June 14, will consist of glazing your bisque-fired project. The 2 weeks off in between gives us time to fire the greenware pieces and ensure they are dry enough that the plates don't crack. (BOTH dates are essential to the class. If you cannot make one, please wait for another workshop date.) It will be ready to pick up within a few weeks from the class date. This workshop is for adults ages 14 and older, and perfect for beginners! Those with some experience will have a great time, too. Take it solo or come with a friend for added fun! We have space for 8 participants in this workshop.
