Each Saturday morning, the Education Center at Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art (SAMA) will open its doors to those wishing to spend a little time making art, making memories and making friends. The first Saturday of the month is dedicated to making handmade greeting cards. The second Saturday of the month is S.M. Art Time, Students Making Art Time. Together we will read a book and create a project inspired by the book. The third Saturday of the month is Open Studio. Maybe you need a break from the chaos of your home, a change of scenery or just a couple hours to make art. Come in during open studio time to work on your own project or make something with the instructor. The fourth Saturday of the month is workshop day. A guided lesson or project will be provided each month. Our Saturday sessions are open to all ages and skill levels. So come make art, laugh, make friends and take a creative moment for yourself!
