Join us at Main Exhibit Gallery & Art Center and learn the leaded panel method of stained glass by making your own small panel reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright's Prairie Style. This project is a stepping stone to other stained glass projects, and will teach you fundamental skills of working with glass! In this class, you will have use of all tools needed for the project, as well as supplies such as lead, zinc came, flux, solder and practice glass. We will have glass available to choose from in colors, clear, and textures, or you may bring your own. Class size is limited to 6 people, ensuring a high level of attention. This class is taught by artist Mandy Sirofchuck. Mandy has been working in stained glass since 1984 and is experienced in the copper foil (Tiffany) methods, leaded glass and fused glass.
